Biografia
Saverio Rapezzi è un compositore specializzato nel campo della musica per Film, TV e Teatro.
Fondatore della società di produzione musicale Film Scoring Lab (www.filmscoringlab.com), con sede a Los Angeles, divide la sua attività tra gli USA e l’Italia.
Le sue colonne sonore hanno vinto il premio per la Miglior Musica Originale al Roma Creative Contest (in giuria il premio Oscar Giuseppe Tornatore), l’Award of Excellence al Best Short Competition in California, il Best Music Award all’Austin Comedy Film Festival in Texas e il Best Song Award agli Oniros Film Awards.
Ha composto la colonna sonora per i film Wish to Live (USA, 2021), King of Crime (UK, 2018), The System is Broken (USA, 2015), El Eco del Miedo (Mexico, 2012), Karusu: a Sicilian Tale (USA, 2013), i pluri-premiati
Odeon (ITA, 2017), The Real Truth Behind The Real True Story: Donnie Miller (USA, 2014), My Christmas Wish (USA, 2014), Moonscape (USA, 2011) e molti altri, partecipando inoltre alla realizzazione delle colonne sonore di altre grandi produzioni internazionali, come Qazaq History of Golden Man, con Oliver Stone, La Tigre e il Dragone 2 (USA-China, 2015), Instructions Not Included (Mexico, 2013), Without Men (USA, 2011), e italiane, quali Soldato Semplice (2015), I nostri ragazzi (2014), Mister Ignis (2013), Gli Equilibristi (2012), Il Caso Enzo Tortora (2012), ecc. collaborando dunque con società come Netflix, 11:11 Films, Elite Studios, Anonymous Content, Rodeo Drive, RAI Cinema, Medusa Film, Sky CInema, RAI Fiction, Cattleya, etc.
Per il teatro ha scritto i musicals Esperanza, Tycho, 1989, l’opera-musical Il Mal di Dante e la commedia musicale L’incredibile giornata di Federico e l’allodola.
Saverio Rapezzi è diplomato in Composizione e Chitarra Classica, ed ha conseguito l’ambitissimo Film Scoring Certificate presso l’Università della California di Los Angeles (UCLA), con il massimo riconoscimento. Si é perfezionato in composizione con il maestro Azio Corghi all’Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna e nel ramo della musica per il cinema con rinomati compositori quali Ennio Morricone, Luis Bacalov, Robert Drasnin, Thom Sharp, Michael Riessler ed altri.
È stato inoltre vincitore anche dell’«International Music Competition» (Cuneo) e del concorso internazionale di composizione Corinfesta (Bologna).
Il suo repertorio di composizioni per concerto e per il cinema comprende numerosi brani, dotati di caratteristica personalità, originalità ed espressività, pur senza limitazioni di genere e forma.

Founder of Film Scoring Lab, a music production company based in Los Angeles (www.filmscoringlab.com), he works between the US and Italy.
His film scores won the Best Original Music Award at Rome Creative Contest (president of the Jury the Academy awarded director Giuseppe Tornatore), the Award of Excellence at Best Short Competition, in Californa, the Best Music Award at Austin Comedy Film Festival in Texas, and the Best Song Award at Oniros Film Awards. His music also won the first prize at the International Music Competition of Cortemilia (Italy) and at the International Composition Competition Corinfesta (Bologne, Italy).
Saverio composed the music for the films Wish to Live (USA, 2021), King of Crime (UK, 2018), The System is Broken (USA, 2015), El Eco del Miedo (Mexico, 2012), Karusu: a Sicilian Tale (USA, 2013), the multi-awarded Odeon (ITA, 2017), The Real Truth Behind The Real True Story: Donnie Miller (USA, 2014), My Christmas Wish (USA, 2014), Moonscape (USA, 2011) and many others, and he has also been part of the music department - as an orchestrator or music assistant - of international movies, such as Qazaq History of Golden Man, with Oliver Stone, Sword of Destiny (USA-China, 2015), Instructions Not Included (Mexico, 2013), Without Men (USA, 2011), and of Italian mainstream productions such as Soldato Semplice (2015), I nostri ragazzi (2014), Mister Ignis (2013), Gli Equilibristi (2012), Il Caso Enzo Tortora (2012), etc.

Saverio Rapezzi is a graduate of Composition at “L.Boccherini” Conservatory of Lucca (Italy) and of Classical Guitar at “P.Mascagni” Conservatory of Livorno (Italy). He also received the prestigious Film Scoring Certificate of UCLA, earned with distinction. He studied Composition with Azio Corghi at the Royal Philarmonic Academy of Bologne (Italy) and Music for Film with renowned composers such as Ennio Morricone, Luis Bacalov, Robert Drasnin, Thom Sharp, Michael Riessler and others.
His repertoire of music for concert and for film includes a long list of compositions with distinctive personality, originality and expressiveness, without limitations of genre and form.
